We are pleased to welcome surgical leaders and inspiring experts to serve as speakers at the 2025 AWS Annual Conference. 

Dr. Callisia Clarke - Keynote Speaker

Dr. Callisia N. Clarke is a surgical oncologist at the Froedtert Hospital Cancer Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a nationally recognized expert in cancer disparities and gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. Appointed by President Biden to the National Cancer Advisory Board, her work focuses on advancing equity through research and surgical workforce diversity. She is the first Black woman to serve as President of the Association for Academic Surgery and holds leadership roles in the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Alison Fragale: Author Fireside Chat

Dr. Alison Fragale is a research psychologist, award-winning professor, keynote speaker, and author of Likeable Badass. A Stanford Ph.D. and professor at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, she helps women lead with confidence by translating the science of power, influence, and negotiation into practical strategies.
