Thank you for joining us in Chicago from Friday, October 3 to Saturday, October 4 for the 2025 Association of Women Surgeons Annual Conference, inspired by the theme: Women Surgeon Pioneers: Shaping the Future of Surgery! The AWS Planning Committee designed the conference schedule to include presentations by leaders in surgery, leadership development, networking events, and more. 

The learning objectives for the conference are:

1. Identify and implement strategies to navigate career transitions, contract negotiations, and leadership opportunities in surgery.
2. Apply self-advocacy techniques to advance career progression, secure leadership roles, and negotiate workplace benefits.
3. Develop and refine self-promotion skills, including effective networking, public speaking, and professional branding.
4. Integrate work-life balance strategies and wellness practices to build a sustainable, fulfilling surgical career.
